WOMAN HAS BREAST AUGMENTATION WITH SILICONE GEL BREAST IMPLANTS

This patient presented for more information on breast augmentation surgery. She had considered having a breast augmentation for many years, and decided to move forward when she learned that several of her friends had breast implants. In her breast augmentation consultation with Dr. Schwartz, she expressed that she desired to keep her breast augmentation results natural-looking and within her body proportions. She also wanted more fullness with a smooth take off point at the upper pole of the breasts.  After reviewing her goal photos along with the various kinds of implants, the patient scheduled her breast augmentation surgery. She chose silicone gel breast implants.  In the OR, after the pocket was created under her pec muscles at the infra-mammary folds of the breasts, Dr. Schwartz tested a range of various sizes and styles of breast implants. He chose 450cc high profile implants to create the look she wanted.  In addition to that, Dr. Schwartz also performed a nipple reduction to further enhance her overall outcome. The patient's results pictured below are 6 months following her breast augmentation. Prior to surgery she filled a B cup. After surgery she wore a D cup.
