Tummy Tuck
Dr. Robert Schwartz
Plastic Surgeon
214-814-8821
This patient presented for procedures to improve the appearance of her abdomen after having children. In her consultation, Dr. Schwartz observed abdominal wall laxity as well as excess skin and fat. He recommended an abdominoplasty procedure to repair the muscles of the abdomen and rejuvenate the overall look of her midsection. During the procedure, dissection was carried down to the rectus fascia. The rectus diastasis was plicated as well as additional plications performed lateral to the rectus muscles on each side. A new belly button was created, burying the incision into the belly button itself, eliminating visible scars. The patient healed well with no complications. Her results pictured are 6 months following her tummy tuck.
