WOMAN HAS BREAST AUGMENTATION WITH SILICONE GEL IMPLANTS

This patient presented for evaluation for breast augmentation enhancement. In addition to wanting to correct her breast asymmetry, the patient also desired to enhance the curves of her body by adding fullness to the sides of her breasts. Her bra size before surgery was a 34B, she wanted to be a full C. After reviewing goal photos and placement techniques in her consult with Dr. Robert Schwartz, the patient decided on a breast augmentation with silicone gel breast implants. In the OR, Dr. Schwartz tested a range of breast implants on the patient. 385cc high profile breast implants were selected and placed under the pec muscles at the infra mammary folds of the breasts. The patient's results are pictured below, 6 months following breast augmentation.

Incisions for the patient's breast augmentation were made at the infra mammary folds of the breasts. Pockets for the breast implants were created under the pec muscles. A range of test implants were used to determine proper sizing in keeping with the patient's goals.
