Procedure details

This patient presented for information to reduce the size of her breasts. She commented that she had endured severe back and neck pain as a result of the size of her breasts and added that she had trouble finding bras that would fit her properly. She desired them to be as small as possible. During her consult, Dr. Schwartz advised that he would reduce them while preserving a natural-looking shape and size in proportion with her body contours. He began by reducing the mass of the breasts by suctioning fat with Vaser High-Def liposuction. He followed with lifting and reducing the size of the breasts and areolae by means of placing bilateral anchor incisions. The patient was placed in a post-procedure bra for a period of 3 weeks. She healed well with no complications and returned to her normal routine quickly.
