DALLAS, TEXAS WOMAN HAS BREAST AUGMENTATION WITH SILICONE GEL BREAST IMPLANTS*

This patient presented for evaluation for breast augmentation to enhance the size and shape of her breasts. She was unhappy with the overall appearance after pregnancy and commented that she wanted to increase the size of her breasts while lifting but wanted to avoid a traditional breast lift. After an in depth consult with Dr. Schwartz, the patient decided to have a breast augmentation silicone gel breast implants. It was agreed upon in her consultation that Dr. Schwartz would test high and extra high profile implants to give her breasts more projection with goal of raising the areola and breast tissue, thus avoiding a traditional breast lift. Dr. Schwartz selected a range of sizes to try in the patient in the OR. 550 cc silicone gel breast implants were ultimately selected and placed under the pec muscles. Breast augmentation scars are hidden under the folds of the breasts. Results are pictured 6 months following surgery.
