WOMAN HAS BREAST AUGMENTATION WITH SILICONE GEL BREAST IMPLANTS

This patient presented for evaluation for breast augmentation. She was unhappy with the appearance of her breasts and wanted to enhance shape and size. After consulting with Dr. Schwartz and reviewing breast implant options, the patient selected silicone gel breast implants for her breast augmentation. During her surgery, Dr. Schwartz made incisions for the breast implants at the inframammary folds of the breasts. He then went on to create pockets for the breast implants underneath the patient's pec muscles. After trying a range of breast implant sizes in the pockets in the OR, Dr. Schwartz selected 385 cc silicone gel breast implants. Final adjustments were made to the breast implant pockets and the incision sites were closed. The patient recovered well and resumed normal activities quickly. Her results pictured below are 6 months following surgery.
