• Capsulectomy: This involves the complete removal of the scar capsule. This technique may be preferred for patients with concerns about BIA-ALCL or those seeking to minimize the risk of recurrence of capsular contracture.
• En Bloc Capsulectomy:  The scar capsule is removed in its entirety without opening it and exposing the breast implant. This is not always technically possible and does usually require a longer incision and scar.
• Partial Capsulectomy: In some cases, a portion of the capsule may be removed, while leaving behind enough to provide some support to the breast tissue.
• Capsule Preservation: For patients who desire a more natural feel and appearance, the capsule may be left intact. This can help maintain the shape and volume of the breast after implant removal.
