WOMAN HAS BREAST AUGMENTATION REVISION WITH NEW BREAST IMPLANTS

This patient presented for evaluation for procedures to correct the appearance of her breasts. She had a previous breast augmentation by another plastic surgeon in Dallas and was dissatisfied with her final outcome. She stated that she felt her breast implants looked unnatural and had trouble concealing the fact in clothing and swimsuits. During her procedure, Dr. Schwartz removed her previous set of breast implants. He also performed a removal of the scar capsules. Modifications were made to the breast implant pockets to allow for better implant placement. Dr. Schwartz then went on to test various sizes and styles of breast implants until he found the pair that most closely matched the patient's goal photos. The new pair of smooth, round silicone gel breast implants were placed underneath the chest muscles at the inframammary folds of the breasts. Final adjustments were made to sculpt the breast tissue around the breast implants. The patient healed well and resumed normal activities quickly. Her results are pictured 6 months following augmentation revision surgery.
